The story of Dishonored 2 starts with the main character having a dream about his father being the regent of Dunwall. In the course of the game, the player will have to choose the role of the main character, the deposed empress Emily, or the role of the father and the royal protector Corvo.
The story is divided into several main missions, and each of them has its own goal to be accomplished. In addition, there are many side quests, which let the main characters get acquainted with the new skills and abilities.
As in the previous game, the gameplay is focused on stealth. However, there is a multitude of ways to complete all the missions, and the way of proceeding is up to the player.
